Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

Palm Beach is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Palm Beach follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

After a several-year hiatus, we decided to return to one of our favorite destinations. We were a little nervous, the hotel had been renovated since our last visit and we worried it might have lost some of its charm. We couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. It still has that luxurious boutique feel we remembered, with some welcome upgrades that only enhanced the experience. The staff was phenomenal from start to finish. We were well taken care of even before we arrived, and upon check-in we were treated to a lovely room upgrade, and of course, the kids were greeted with treats, which set the tone perfectly. We're so glad we came back. This property holds a lot of wonderful memories for our family, and we're happy to say we've added a few more to the collection. We look forward to returning for many years to come. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for an exceptional stay.

If you ask for two bottles of water they give you three on a nice tray, we had an early morning flight and kid wants waffles they opened up 10 mins early and brought out waffles, ask for chairs and they get you a cabana (because it’s emptier than usual), always above and beyond, the four seasons service is bar none - tasteful and impeccable. Beautifully manicured facilities, amazing and generous staff, always a great visit

We stayed here last October for a girls’ trip and had one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The service was exceptional from start to finish. A special thank you to Paul, the wonderful French gentleman at the pool, who went above and beyond. We mentioned that we loved strawberry oat milk matcha lattes, and even though they weren’t on the menu, he happily made them for us. It was such a thoughtful gesture and one of those little touches that made our stay unforgettable. We left already planning our next trip, and Four Seasons Palm Beach has officially become our annual girls’ getaway. We can’t wait to be back!

Gorgeous hotel but the main part is how amazing the staff are with kids. Every memeber of staff we iterfaced with was fantastic with them. They had a gorgeous little toy room, they were friendly and smiled, honestly the vibe was just amazing and you can really feel they went above and beyond. Kids adored it and our eldest wrote the hotel a spontaneous thank you card. Super recommended across everything but the effor for the kids was especially notable.
